Saint Valentine's night

Yesterday night i went out with a friend of mine i haven't seen in weeks...she just had a drink with her boyfriend and friend of his and didn't feel like spending the evening with them so she acsked me if i had something planned...and since i didn't, she proposed to have dinner with me and i totally agreed...i was so happy to see her again...and so in the mood for talking and going out...

usually when i'm depressed, i tend stay alone and want to see noone, but it's makes me feel even more depressed...so i decided, with some encouragements of another friend of mine, to take things differently this time and go out, since i can actually do that with no parental limitations here...

I was ready for anything...and a dinner out with this girl friend of mine was totally a perfect plan..
we've agreed to meet one hour after our phone call in front of a restaurant...i arrived there earlier that the appointment time...and while i was waiting for my friend i couldn't help myself from counting all the couples that got in and out very quickly for that place because they didn't book any table and there was no room left for anyother couple...so i called her and asked her if she another idea about a place we could go to...

she pronounced the name of another restaurant and five minutes later we were both there, waiting for a free table...and ten minutes later we were sitting...we were happy cause at least we didn't have to think of another place to go to ... but the service was incredibly terrible yesterday...which is not normal in that place...we waited over 2 and a half hours for our plates...they ignored us because one of the thing we asked for and that was on the menu didn't exist and noone came to tell us so...so we were waiting, talking and talking and waiting (none of us had had lunch, we were verrrrrrrrry hungry!!!) and we were like wondering why would two salads take all this time, should we come tomorrow for the dessert???...until the owner came to check us out and tell us with a natural air "oh, porchetta doesn't exist, that's why they didn't serve you"!! uh uh thanks!! but why did no one tell us so before!!! how were we supposed to know!!!
we finally got time around 23h20...it was actually high time that we got served!! we took a chocolate mousse for dessert hoping they'd offer it us as an apology for all this but they didn't!! shame on them!!

Still it was a great night out and i felt much better after that...i laughed for real and didn't have to put a fake smile on my face to hide what i was really feeling inside...

Saint Valentine's day seems often like commercial thing, still it's opportunity as another to go out with our lovers, our friends or our relatives and to tell eachother how we love eachother...or at least let it show...

I hope you all had a wondeful night last night and may you always be happy and in love...
